| In accordance with the priority of the XI ICE 2008, in being a program accessible to all participants and in promoting the rich and fun exchange of knowledge alongside academic presentations and community involvement, throughout the congress an exhibition of posters based on the topics of the Congress were made available at two locations. In order to foment the maximum exchange of knowledge within the theme of the Congress and to achieve its objectives, all contributions were divided between two groups, and then subdivided into different subjects. Based on their thematic area and subject, the works were presented during the course of two days at the Casa del Maestro and during the two following days at the Museo Inka. The two locations were equipped in order to maximize the creative potential of the contributors. In addition to these times of open exposition to the public, two periods of the global congress were dedicated to an accompanying session of the works by their creators. These two sessions were realized on the 26th and 28th of June, from three until four p.m. at the Casa del Maestro and the Museo Inka. In order to promote more visitors and facilitate the space for exchange with the authors, each group had to present their work in a personal manner at the two locales, once at the Casa del Maestro, alongside the academic sessions, and once at the Museo Inka, alongside the Indigenous Form. In part, this programming intended to increase the dialogue between distinct types of knowledge and form epistemological bridges among the academic and indigenous participants. |
